By Grace Cyril: It’s no secret that Amitabh Bachchan is his son Abhishek Bachchan’s biggest cheerleader. Big B often takes to social media to give a shoutout to Abhishek on his new films, or just to praise him. Recently, author Taslima Nasreen tweeted (now deleted) how Big B thinks ‘his son inherited all his talents and is the best’. Taslima also said that Abhishek is not ‘as talented as’ Amitabh. Well, Abhishek took notice of it and gave a very humble reply that is winning our hearts.
ABHISHEK’S REPLY TO AUTHOR WHO COMPARED HIM TO BIG B
Taslima Nasreen had tweeted, “Amitabh Bachchan ji loves his son Abhishek Bachchan so much that he thinks his son inherited all his talents and his son is the best. Abhishek is good, but I do not think Abhishek is as talented as Amitji (sic).”
Reacting to the tweet, Abhishek Bachchan replied, “Absolutely correct, Ma’am. Nobody comes close to him in talent or anything else for that matter. He will always remain ‘the best’ ! I am an extremely proud son. (folded hands emoji) (sic).” Suniel Shetty posted a red heart emoji on Abhishek’s tweet.

AMITABH BACHCHAN TALKS ABOUT ABHISHEK BEING ‘MOCKED’
Recently, Abhishek Bachchan won the Best Actor award for Dasvi at the Filmfare OTT Awards 2022. His movie also bagged the Best Film award at the ceremony. After Jr Bachchan’s big win, Big B penned an appreciation note for his son on Twitter. He said it was his son Abhishek’s most ‘deserving’ award. In a series of tweets, the veteran actor praised Abhishek and recalled how his son was ‘ridiculed’ and ‘mocked’.
Amitabh Bachchan took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “T 4503 – My pride .. my joy .. you have proved your point .. you were derided , ridiculed mocked .. but you silently without any tom tomming , showed your mettle .. you are and shall ever be the BEST .. (sic).”
In another tweet, he mentioned, “a most deserving Award .. well done Bhaiyu .. you were and are and shall ever be the best ! FINALLY .. you have through sincere perseverance and belief .. proved your point .. !! And shall continue to do so .. time and again .. You can be derided, but you cannot be ignored !! (sic).”
Coming to Amitabh Bachchan’s work front, the senior actor was last seen in Sooraj Barjatya’s Uunchai. The film also featured Anupam Kher and Boman Irani in the lead roles. It hit the big screen on November 11, 2022.
